Paul gets up at eight. He eats breakfast. He takes a shower. Then he gets dressed and goes to work.
Really? Does he? How interesting.
I don’t do any of those things. Well, I do, but not in that order, and definitely not that early!
It’s so funny that all language books start with a morning routine. After you learn to say “hello, my
name is…” you learn to tell someone all about the worst part of your day.
Blugh. I don’t want anyone knowing about that!
I get up looking like a monster with my hair in a mess. I fall into the shower and my eyes are still
closed when I put on the kettle—the day doesn’t even start without a cup of tea! Then I sit in front
of the computer (still in my pyjamas) and check my emails.
It’s not a pretty sight. But I guess I’m lucky. I have an unusual job. I’m an actress and a writer. So
some days I work from home on my laptop. And other days I get up before the sun and to go to work
on a film set. And that’s a whole different morning routine!
Watch today’s video to hear more about my shooting day morning routine.
